S.T.A.R.T. (Rapid Triage and Rapid Treatment for Mass Casuilty). This is a program which utilizes a decision-making algorithm. It's based on the recognition of bodily injuries and the categorization of patients into categories of priority based on specific physiological criteria. This includes: airway, breathing and circulation considerations.

It focuses on treatment and transport of the most emergent patients first and uses a color coded system to rapidly triage patients into their respective injury status.
