S.P.O.T (Site Protection Through Observational Techniques)

The SPOT program aims to prevent security threats by identifying and responding to suspicious behavior before it becomes a threat. The program is based on the idea that human behavior can provide valuable insight into a person's intentions and potential threats.

SPOT-trained officers use behavioral observation techniques to identify individuals who may pose a security risk. These techniques include assessing a person's body language, facial expressions, and other nonverbal cues to determine if they are exhibiting suspicious behavior.

The program's mission is to create a security posture that is proactive and flexible, able to respond to evolving threats in real-time. By using behavioral observation techniques and personal interaction, SPOT-trained officers can identify and respond to potential threats before they become a security risk.

Overall, the SPOT program's mission is to enhance security at transportation facilities by providing a proactive, flexible, and effective security posture that can deter, detect, and respond to evolving threats.
